An Upstream company (Oil producer) owned by ADNOC Group, and other foreign oil companies (minor share holders).  The company has over 1500 mobile vehicles, heavy trucks, sand equipment, buses, etc., they have their own vehicles but they lease majority of their mobile vehicles/trucks.  ADCO drivers drive more than 3,000,000 km per month.

 

Project Description:

Install fleet management system to reduce road accidents, monitor driver behavior, and improve fleet utilization; hardware and software are fully owned by ADCO.

Challenge & Needs:

Lack of control, high no. of road safety and speeding violations, lack of control on vehicle movement and inefficient fleet and poor utilization

Result After Installation:

Full control on driver and vehicle, all trips are monitored 24/7, driver identification in each trip, reduced speed violation to few violations per month, improved fleet utilization, and improved road safety by more than 86%.

ADNOC DISTRIBUTION

Transport of Fuel, Oil, LPG, from ADNOC depot to ADNOC gas station, customer sites, oil fields, and construction sites. The company is part of the VIP ADNOC Group of companies; a fully owned enterprise by the UAE government.

Install vehicle tracking and fleet management system to monitor fuel truck movement and control fuel theft on all company and contractor trucks.

1 Full control on fuel truck, monitor truck movement 24/7, confirmation of product delivery to customer site on time and right location, fraud has become minimal – the system has saved ADNOC millions of dirhams per month.

ADNOC DRILLING

National Drilling Company and part of the ADNOC group of companies.. its main business is drilling. it owns and leases light and heavy vehicles and equipment. NDC currently operates 56 rigs, and more than 400 vehicles and heavy equipment.

Road and Transportation Authority – Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority  (commonly known as RTA) is the major independent government roads & transportation authority in Dubai – United Arab Emirates.  It was founded in 2005 and is responsible for planning and executing transport and traffic projects, along with legislation and strategic plans of transportation in the city.  It is a department of the Government of Dubai.

Project Description:

Provide an innovative Regulatory Monitoring System (RMS) to transform and regulate the future of public transportation in Dubai. Scope includes Telematics, global positioning, regulatory monitoring,

Driver safety, passenger seat sensors, passenger panic and emergency button, compliance with road safety policy, and making sure driver is adhering to best practices.  It uses Ericsson RMS Platform.

Tunisian Customs – DOUANE

The Republic of Tunis has 13 points of official borders with neighboring countries. All these borders are controlled and managed by the Tunisian Customs Directorate and Border Police.

Project Description:

The government has tried many different systems to stop or reduce smuggling in the in-transit cargo, but without success, until the Customs Directorate awarded the contract to FMS-Tech to provide the e-lock solution to track and secure containers to eliminate smuggling.

Challenge & Needs:

Each Container that imports into Tunisia needs to be tracked to avoid tampering and/or smuggling. Previously the government was tracking containers with police convoys which was inefficient, expensive, and inconvenient.

Result After Installation:

Improved security with little manual work. Customized reports, Dedicated control Center to monitor and report on the cargo, and implementation of  FMS-Tech solution in police cars as well as application on containers and trucks.
